A visit from Laura

The First Lady, Laura Bush, must be in town right now.

I know this because my office window is about 5 blocks from the I35W bridge collapse and there are Army helicopter gun ships buzzing over head.

Well, it's been a busy week and I'm a bit emotionally stressed out so I'm gonna ditch the office a couple hours early. I'm gonna pack the my truck with water play toys, wake board, bike, and dog. Then I'm gonna pick up a few tri friends and we're headed up north to a cabin on a lake and celebrate our August birthdays...redneck style. Yee Haw!

B-double-E-double-R-U-N!

Happy birthday (even if it's not your birthday, why NOT have another one?)

Happy birthday! And on your last post, I thought "death march" was a good description of the last 3 miles since that's how I felt at the end of my only half IM.
