Back at it. Whew.

pre Ironman Zurich, June 2007

Thanks for your kind concerns and comments about my hip flexor issue.
I've got it nearly worked out now and it's cooperating.
I did a short 40 minute trot through the neighborhood yesterday and all went well.
No pain today.

On tap for today:
Run 45 min. at 85% effort at near threshold HR maintaining constant pace.
Bike 75 min. with 20X30 sec. at 90% effort with 30 sec. recovery spin between each.

Glad to hear its better! My TFL has been giving me grief lately. Finally found out my femur was out of alignment and putting tons of strain on it. Two visits to the chriopractor and its still inflamed but MUCH better and I can feel a huge difference. Its always SOMETHING...

Oooo, that is a great picture of you! Those woods remind me of home too. Glad you're on the mend. That was weird, huh? Maybe you overdid it in body flow - or weights should go before body flow? Or is that the order you did it in and I'm spacing?

I hope that is the last you see of that silly hip injury. Tell it not to come back!! Good luck with that.

Oh my god! Who's that rock-solid, muscle-bound, strapping young man running at me? With those delts and pecs I'm surprised you didn't sink to the bottom of a lake in Zurich somewhere!

Glad you're feeling better.
