Now I just have to decide which one...or two...or...
What the heck, I should just do all of them.
I have to go now and call my travel agent.
Good thing I've got tons of frequent flier miles to use up.

Anyone else doing any of these races?

I'm on board for the Beach to Battleship full this year. If you're in it for a challenging swim, this is probably not the one. If you're in it for a PR, definitely consider B2B. The swim is with the current and faaaast. I've heard excellent reports on the race direction and the bike course. Happy choosing!
A bunch of folks from NM are doing B2B. I am doing the half. I think Buffalo Springs 70.3 in Lubbuck has an aquabike too. I am doing the half-it is in june.
I was at Lone Star last year and LOVED IT! It is a great race and very well run! I heard they even improved the half bike course this year. Oh, and they have wetsuit strippers. (That was my favorite part.) I wish I could do that race again this year, but my schedule is full.
I won't be at any of them, but if you wind up doing Timberman, give me a shout. You'll be too retardedly close for me to NOT see you. Also, you should think about the Rev 3 race in Middlebury, CT on June 7 because I just signed up for the Aquabike last night.
I won't be at that Vineman race as its not the same day as the 70.3...bummer. Glad to see that the knee isn't really slowing you down any.
I'll see you at Vineman! COOL!
I will be at Lone Star and Buffalo Springs. Galveston is really a great race. Keith puts on a top notch event. Also, Michael and Amanda Lovato were at this race last year and they are back in Austin so they just might show up to the 2009 edition as well.
My partner and I are doing the B2B half. I'm excited about swimming in the Intercoastal Waterway. Both Vineman and Timberman look like interesting races. Good luck choosing!
The Vineman is a great race - do that one!
have you given any thought to endurance mountain biking... solo 8,12,24 hour races. I think it would be right up your alley and be one hell of a challenge. just a thought.
I would think the Aqua Vineman would be a cool one to do. That's my vote for you! ;)
