Exotic maple or just a weed?
For some folks, this might be a world holiday. For me, it's just another day counting down to my first ironman. This week has been a recovery week for me and today is my day OFF from training. How sweet it is.
I have to say that this past week has been an emotional roller coaster brought on by the horrible news from Virginia Tech. I remember the sick-to-my-stomach feeling on 9/11 and that same feeling last Monday. My sleep has been restless all week and my daily "life" has been a bit off center. I don't count my blessings because it would take me the rest of life to do so. I'm alive, healthy, and ...infinity.
No excuses.

I have things spring up in my garden all the time that I'm confused about! And it's good to remember the significant things that happen in the world longer than just the day they happen.
I'm having my own emotional roller ooaster rides ... I like how you question if it is an exotic maple or a weed. :)
