It starts on my front Patio.

Meet Rosa, my red hot commuter companion.
She's a 1996 all carbon roadie. My first love. Smooth as silk in the wind. She has never let me down.

The bike trail and a bridge.

A newly rebuilt underpass along the trail.

Half way to downtown under a RR track.

Under a freeway. No traffic jams for me.

Cedar Lake.

Minneapolis downtown skyline...and still no traffic jams.

Downtown Minneapolis. Dedicated bike lane.

Hennepin Ave. bridge over Mississippi River.

Mississippi River. Minneapolis Locks.

A Construction zone...riding slowly, not walking my bike.

Interstate 35W bridge re-construction over Mississippi River.

New Gopher stadium under construction.

Aid station. Ahhh, frosty amber nectar.
Consider yourself tagged (if you wish).
Post some pics of scenes along your bike commute or your bike training route.

great idea....
thanks
ummmmm amber nectar!!
I love seeing where people live/work/play. These are great!! I will probably do it on my training ride this weekend.
I'm confused, you live in Montana and bike commute to Minneapolis?? Isn't that a long way :)
What a lovely ride! Love the beer sign
You have a great bike commute path. good idea to tag to post pics from commute or training rides. :)
Rosa must have cost a pretty penny back in 1996 being all carbon!
I wish I had fantastic bike lanes like that to ride to work or heck, just ride anywhere.
That is awesome! Now if I can only remember to take my camera..
To flo and others.
I do LIVE in Montana
but I'm on an extended work assignment in Minneapolis, MN.
Not a bad gig so far.
Thanks for asking.
Benson
Sweet commute. Nothing better than a frosty one at the end either!
Wait, your profile says "Montana", but I was looking through your photos going, "hey, that's that's the Cedar Lake Trail! Hey, that's near the gardens in St. Louis Park! HEY, that's the Hennepin bridge!"
You're a local!! I didn't know!
Happy 4th!!
Oh, now I just read your comment to others with the same "location" concern...
I'm a dolt sometimes...
Very cool pictures. My commute, the one time I biked it, is not worth photographing! You could help advocate for bike commuting since your route is so lovely.
That looks a heck of a lot better than sitting in a car at $4.25 a gallon!
Thanks for sharing~!
If my bike commute looked like that I'd ride into work every day! You lucky duck!
wow... Great bike route! I so wish I could bike to work... take advatage of it even if gas were half as much! :) what's next on your race docket? j
Hi. I found your blog through Brooke's blog. I agree. A great bike route. And great race reports. I only live a mile from work and that's down hill -- and up hill on the way home -- so it's not much of a work out for me. Take care.
The world through Benson eyes - great pictures!
Too cool! You are SO lucky to be able to commute and ride on those trails!!!!!
